In Western Australia, the darkest legal window tint for passenger vehicles is 35% Visible Light Transmission (VLT) for the front side windows, and 20% VLT for windows behind the “B” pillar (rear side windows and rear windscreen). The front windscreen may only have a tint strip at the top no more than 10% of total area of windscreen. Automotive window tint is installed on the inside of the glass. This protects the film from weather exposure, wiper damage and debris, allowing it to last longer and perform better over time.
During installation, you may notice our tech team working on the outside of the window first. This is a normal and important step called the shrinking process. The film is briefly applied to the outside of the glass and carefully heated so it can be shaped to perfectly match the curve of your window. Once shaped, the film is permanently installed on the inside of the glass.
This process ensures a precise, seamless fit, better clarity and optimal heat rejection — resulting in a clean, factory-quality finish.

After window tinting your car is safe to be driven immediately. However, we strongly recommend avoid winding your windows down or cleaning the glass for 3–5 days to allow the film to fully cure. Once cured, clean your windows using a soft cloth and an ammonia-free glass cleaner.
